AceOne Designs @ Christmas Craft & Gift Fairs – 21/11/2013
With Christmas just around the corner we thought we should get involved in some craft fairs to see if people would be interested in the odd AceOne illustration, print or original artwork to buy as presents for friends and family!
At the moment we’ve got a trading place at the Aldershot Christmas Craft & Gift Fair!
The fair will be on the 30th of November at Park Church (Opposite St. Michael’s Junior School) and will run from 10am – 3pm.
We’ll also be taking commissions so if you’re after something that we haven’t got at the stall, we’ll sort something out for you!
There will be all sorts of unique things for sale so why not come by and pick up a present to wow your family and friends with for Christmas!
We hope to see some of you guys down there! Come represent AceOne Designs!
We’re hoping to be at some other fairs before Christmas too, we’re just waiting on confirmation of those, so look out for an update on other events too!
Below are a couple of original artworks (among others being currently made) that we’ll be selling at the fair’s!
– 1. Urban Fox – 2. A recreation of Dose’s Graffiti Alphabet, AceOne style.
The originals, along with our celebrity prints and canvas works, will be available online at our store https://aceonedesigns.bigcartel.com if they don’t sell at the fairs!
Hope to see you guys at one of the fairs soon!
A Half Mini Graffiti Project @ Fruition Youth Centre, Yateley – 09/10/2013
Long time no update guys, sorry, we’ve been real busy over here! Aaand this is why…
So AceOne Designs were contacted at the beginning of September by Andy Binnersley of Fruition Youth to go wild and graffiti/paint half a Mini. Andy and the youth centre had bought this half Mini trailer off a Mini enthusiast and had somehow managed to get on the first floor of their centre! Crazy!
The mini is to form a feature point for the youth centre, creating a place for the kids to play video games by storing all types of games consoles in the boot of the mini and having it all link up to a flat screen tv/monitor to sit on the flat bed part on the rear of the Mini. We were told we had free reign with this project and to go crazy with the mini and do what we want, which was brilliant! So obviously, a lot of ideas crossed our minds but making it a feature for the room using the wall that the Mini sat against, made a lot of sense to us.
Sooo here we have, below, the outcome of what we came up with!
A pretty cool project all in all for us, however random it was, especially when we first heard about the job!
You can check out the whole work progression, from blank canvas to finished piece, via the full photo album on our Facebook design page at the link below…
Until next time guys!
Merging Inks Collaborative Live Art Jam – Edition 2 @ Rich Mix, Shoreditch – 08/08/2013
These are some photo’s and video’s from the Merging Inks Live Art Collab Jam we were involved in, a very cool concept and live art night courtesy of Crazivity Design Studios!
Some YouTube video link productions of the event too, of which we feature in a fair amount haha!

We originally were only meant to have a stall at the event and be selling work, as we mentioned in our previous blog post but in the end an artist bailed on Roxanne, the curator and didn’t turn up so we jumped in last minute to save the night!
It was scary stuff to be honest as we had no preparation for it at all but it was a great experience! We had to paint for 40 minutes on the loose theme of ‘Summer’, take a 15 minute break then choose our next piece to work on and add to, for another 30 minutes! This process then happened again for the final merge, which on our original piece went tits up…whoever it was who worked on it, as you can see from the before and after photo of our original live piece..
All in all it was a great event to be a part of! Thank you for the invite Roxanne of Crazivity! The live music acts were amazing! Shout outs go to So Special Kay and massive respect goes out to the female beatboxer! never seen a female beatboxer before but with the vocal talent on top, yep she was sick! so yeah we met some pretty cool people!
You can view more of the photos, including the works we merged on as well as other live merged artworks, in a complete album on our Facebook design page via this link here > https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.568323103226805.1073741827.232292143496571&type=1
If you were there we hope you had a great time and enjoyed all the live art and works for sale!
Hopefully see you guys again soon at something similar eh?
AceOne Designs @ Merging Inks Collaborative Live Art Jam, Shoreditch, London – 29/07/2013
We’ve just confirmed and have reserved a trading space/art stall at Merging Inks Collaborative Live Art Jam, which is happening next Wednesday 7th August at Rich Mix in Shoreditch from 6pm to 11pm. It’s free entry, within walking distance from Shoreditch High Street overground station and is run by Crazivity Design Studio.
Unfortunately we were too late in signing up to be involved in the actual live art jam, which is a shame as it sounds awesome, buuut we’ll give the public canvas that’s there a go! haha. We’ll see if there’s some public interest in some of the celebrity portrait prints (we just posted up something on that) or in the boards from the Vibe Gallery Exhibition and some other bits and pieces we’ve got lying about somewhere for sale. Not only is there live art going on there though, there will also be a live band, Angler who will improvise their music relative to the artwork that is in progress, which is very cool! We’re intrigued to see that tbh! So come on down for what should be a great live event and maybe you could pick yourself up a piece of artwork you’ve always wanted!
Would be great to see some friendly faces down there as well as new ones! So make sure, if you’re on Facebook, you get onto the event page and mark yourself as attending! It would be silly to miss out!

Make sure you check it out! Get your RSVP oooon! haha
